News
Sad news. It's been a tough year. Musician Phil Guy passed away August 20th due to prostate cancer which had spread. He was diagnosed in January. I was his music manager for 3 1/2 years but a friend of his family and him since 2001. We were working on revising a manuscript I wrote specifically about Buddy Guy, to include information about Phil, too.
I will continue to move forward with that project.

Hello 2007!

Summertime in the City - Chicago is so much fun!

Spring is just around the corner - I hope!

I had a great time visiting my daughter, Tara, who recently moved to Nashville, Tennessee. She invited me to talk to her classes at her school about being a writer, setting goals, etc. The students were very attentive and asked alot of great questions.

My next author event will be March 18th at the Chicago Children's Museum at the Navy Pier on East Grand Street.

Have been asked to write bios about the staff in our building for our condo's newsletter. It's exciting! Everyone has a story! I enjoyed interviewing and writing about our newest doorman.

Now, back to writing and revising my Phil Guy - Buddy Guy manuscript.
